Aaron started in 1996 as a scratch agent with Farmers Insurance, became an independent broker in 2019, and has focused on the flood insurance niche since 2012. In 2016, Aaron’s agency became a Lloyd’s of London coverholder (a managing general agent, or MGA). Under a binding authority agreement, the agency can enter into insurance contracts on behalf of a Lloyd’s syndicate — so on many policies, we don’t just broker the coverage, we are the carrier.
